Marc T. Fitch

 

BACKGROUND

 

After graduating from Western State University, construction defect, and government liability cases. In 1994 Marc Fitch began practicing law specializing in insurance, defense, and government liability cases. He drafted over 30 winning motions and successfully resolved over 200 cases. Marc Fitch later worked as a commercial construction estimator, where he generated $3.2 million in new business via successful bids and negotiated contracts with general and sub-contractors. He represented clients in court, at arbitration, and during depositions, where he negotiated settlements saving clients well over $2 million.In addition Marc Fitch has extensive workers compensation experience having tried cases at the WCAB locations throughout Southern California. Marc Fitch has handled a caseload of over 100 Workers’ Compensation files. Marc Fitch also has worked as Senior Construction Defect Adjustor managing an active case load of over 160 Construction Defect claims and assigned and supervised outside defense counsel. Marc Fitch negotiated settlements on behalf of insurers.

 

PRESENT ACTIVITIES

 

Marc Fitch is experienced in handling hundreds of cases from inception to trial. He became an Associate at the Law Offices of Patrick C. Stacker in 2005 where he has addressed over 50 Workers’ Compensation cases. Marc Fitch conducts research matters in all areas of the Workers’ Compensation cases. He also prepares legal research on litigation, probate, estate, appellate, and general litigation matters.

 

CIVIC AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

 

Marc Fitch is a licensed insurance adjuster in California, Oregon and Michigan. In 2002 he joined the California Department of Insurance and has been a member since. He has served as Secretary of the Board for the Sunset Beach Community Association.
